The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, that is ablaze. 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
