We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
