They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 and leave them a desolate waste, 106 “In which you shall neither see ups nor downs.” 107 On that day they shall follow the inviter, there is no crookedness in him, and the voices shall be low before the Beneficent Allah so that you shall not hear aught but a soft sound. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 And he who works deeds of righteousness, while he is a believer (in Islamic Monotheism) then he will have no fear of injustice, nor of any curtailment (of his reward). 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 114 We had commanded Adam before, but he disregarded it: We found him lacking in resolution. 115
