In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
