Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
