The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the inspiration by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, saying: Give the warning that there is no god but Me, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 and they bear your loads unto a land that you never would reach, excepting with great distress. Surely your Lord is All-clement, All-compassionate. 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
