Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise. 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death; and He has power over all things. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six stages, then assumed the throne. He knows whatsoever enters the earth, and whatsoever comes out of it, and what comes down from the sky and what goes up to it; and He is with you wheresoever you may be, and He perceives whatsoever you do. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. To Him all matters shall return. 5 He causes the night to pass into the day and the day to pass into the night. And He knows all that is in the hearts of men. 6 Believe in God and His Apostle, and spend of what He has given you as His trustee. And those of you who believe and spend in charity will have a great reward. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 It is He who sends down splendent revelations to His votary that he may take you out of darkness into light; for surely God is gracious and kind to you. 9 How is it that you do not expend in the Way of Allah when to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting before the Victory cannot be equated (with those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting afterwards). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to each Allah has promised a good reward. Allah is well aware of all that you do. 10
