The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
