The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He sends down the angels with revelations by His command to whoever of His servants He pleases, saying, "Warn mankind that there is no god save Me, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He creates man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: and lo! this same being shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue! 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 God's it is to show the way; and some do swerve from it. If He willed, He would have guided you all together. 9
