The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
