It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
