We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
