On that Day We shall gather a crowd from every nation of those who belied Our verses, so they are gathered. 83 So that when they come (before the Lord) He will say: "Did you deny My signs without having understood them? Or what was it that you were doing?" 84 And the Word shall fall upon them because of the evil they committed, while they speak naught. 85 Have they not seen how We have appointed the night that they may rest therein, and the day sight-giving? Lo! therein verily are portents for a people who believe. 86 The Day when the Trumpet will be blown all those who are in the heavens and on the earth shall be terror stricken - all except those whom Allah wills - and everyone shall come to Him utterly abject. 87 You now see the mountains and consider them firmly fixed, but then they shall pass away even as clouds pass away. That will be the handiwork of Allah Who has created everything with perfect wisdom. He is well aware of what you do. 88 Whosoever comes with a good deed, he shall have better than it; and they shall be secure from terror that day. 89 And whoever comes with an evil deed - their faces will be overturned into the Fire, [and it will be said], "Are you recompensed except for what you used to do?" 90 I am commanded only to worship the Lord of this city which He hath sanctified, and His is every thing - and I am commanded to be of the Muslims; 91 and to recite the Qur'an." So, whosoever is guided, his guidance will be to his own good. As for those who stray, tell them: "I am none but a warner." 92 And say thou: All praise unto Allah! Anon He shall shew you His signs, so that ye will recognize them. And thy Lord is not negligent of that which ye work. 93
