Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
