[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away! 32 Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself! 33 Near to you and nearer, 34 Again your ruin has come close, still closer. 35 What, does man reckon he shall be left to roam at will? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 Then he became a clot; then He created him and formed him. 38 And made of him two mates, the male and the female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
