The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
