And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
