The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
