The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
