Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
