▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 For all their deeds. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 even against those who set up with God another god. Certainly they will soon know! 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
