By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But verily, it will be but a single (Compelling) Cry, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has not there come to you the story of Musa? 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 you pay attention 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
