The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21
