Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
