Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like boiling water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
