The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
