۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: 'I ask no wage of you; that shall be yours. My wage is only upon Allah and He is Witness over everything' 47 Say: "My Lord casts the truth: He is the knower of things unknown." 48 Say: "The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything." 49 Proclaim, “If I stray, I stray only for my own harm; and if I attain guidance, it is because of what my Lord has sent down to me; indeed He is All Hearing, Close.” 50 If thou couldst but see when they will quake with terror; but then there will be no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a position (quite) near. 51 And then they will say: we believe therein. But whence can there be the attainment of faith from a place so afar. 52 They disbelieved in it before and indulged in conjectures from far away. 53 A barrier shall be raised between them and what they desired, as was done with their partisans before. They too were filled with disquieting doubt. 54
