And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 for whatever they have done! 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 Lo! We defend thee from the scoffers, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
