▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
