Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
