Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
