O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in God's cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. 154 We will surely put you to trial by involving you in fear and hunger and by causing loss of property, life and earnings. And give good tidings to those who remain steadfast in these trials: 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Those who hide the authoritative proofs and the guidance that We have revealed, after it has been made clear for the People of the Book, will be condemned by God and those who have the right to condemn. 159 However, I shall accept the repentance of those of them who repent for their sins, reform their manners, and preach the truth; I am All-forgiving and All-merciful. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 They are there (in the Fire) for eternity neither shall the punishment be lightened for them; nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
