The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
