See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
