The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the bright forenoon, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
