And remember thou Our bondman Ayyub, what time he cried unto his Lord: verily the Satan hath touched me with affliction and suffering. 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
