Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
