Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
