۞ Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers? 32 He who brings the truth and verifies it, -- such are the people who are God-fearing. 33 They shall have with their Lord what they please; that is the reward of the doers of good; 34 So that Allah will do away with the worst of what they did and give them their reward for the best of what they do. 35 IS NOT God enough for His servant? And yet, they would frighten thee with those [imaginary divine powers which they worship] beside Him! But he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide, 36 And whomsoever Allah guideth, for him there shall be no misleader. Is not Allah Mighty, and Lord of Retribution? 37 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth? they will surely say: Allah. Say thou: bethink ye then that those whom ye call upon beside Allah, could they if Allah intended some hurt for me, remove His hurt? or if He intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy? Say thou: enough for me is Allah; in Him the trusting put their trust. 38 Say: O my people! work in your place, surely I am a worker, so you will come to know. 39 Who it is unto whom cometh a doom that will abase him, and on whom there falleth everlasting doom. 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
