The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
