Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
