The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 No, indeed! They shall deny their service, and they shall be against them pitted. 82
