The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 And when the stars shall dart down, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 and when she-camels big with young, about to give birth, are left untended, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
