Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 storming tempestuously 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
