Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
