No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 except the people of the right hand 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 about the sinners. 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 we fed not the needy, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
