Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
