Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But people later cut up their religion into bits, each group rejoicing in what they have. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We vie in good works for them? Nay, but they are not aware. 56 Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Pondered they not over the Word? or came there unto them that which came not unto their fathers ancient? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their caprices, the heavens and the earth and whosoever in them is had surely corrupted. Nay, We brought them their Remembrance, but from their Remembrance they turned. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
