Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
