And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
